Because
Your Practice Is Essentially 100% Phone Consultations, All
Over the US and Canada, How Do You Handle Your Cases
Without Seeing the Pet?
The clients provide me with all records from
the previous veterinary visits, and I may request
laboratory work, x-rays, ultrasound, and physical
examinations, etc., as needed, from a hospital of your
choice, which in turn is faxed or emailed to my office. I
also frequently call the primary care veterinarian to
obtain his evaluation and input into the problem. In my
practice, the right hand always knows what the left hand is
doing. Communication between me and the pet's owner is
always paramount.
Almost six decades of veterinary practice, teaching, and
research has immeasurably increased my ability to
understand the ramifications of animal illnesses, as well
as the concerns of loving pet owners.
